Paper title: CHUA’S OSCILLATOR USING OPERATIONAL TRANSRESISTANCE AMPLIFIER

Author(s): AJAY KUMAR KUSHWAHA, SAJAL K. PAUL,

Abstract:

An implementation of chaotic circuit using Chua’s diode, resistors, capacitors, active lossless inductor and current mode building block namely operational transresistance amplifier (OTRA) is presented. This circuit is popularly known as Chua’s oscillator. It is useful to generate a variety of chaotic oscillations. The Chua’s diode (piecewise linear three segment negative resistor) and lossless grounded active inductor used in Chua’s oscillator are designed using OTRA. A number of attractors along with hyperchaos have been generated by PSPICE simulation of the proposed circuit to verify theoretical proposition. The practical feasibility has also been tested by assembling a prototype of the proposed circuit using commercially available IC AD844.
